Making Choices for Relationship

By the time you read this, I will have wrapped up the last episode of Hot and Healthy Sex Radio for the season. With a bit of sadness, I'm taking some time off from doing new shows. The ones from this season will remain available. If you missed any, you can still go back to listen and send me and my guests comments and questions. No problem.

I should have the touch-up done on most of the new website, too. If you haven't seen it yet, you really should. It's beautiful! Check it out at the same address: www.CenterForClarity.org. I so look forward to training on the new program that created this wonderful work. As a matter of fact, I'm counting on the post-training power surge from it to get most of the touch-up done.

I've decided to take a break from Hot and Healthy Sex Radio because I've had another major change in my life. Thank goodness it's not another injury. Yet the focus, energy and management I will require to deal with it, especially when my knee cap has just reached the final stages of healing, are beyond what I think I can do and still keep all my balls in the air. I'll pick it back up as soon as possible. So keep on the look out for new announcements!

The article I found to discuss in News from Center for Clarity this month renames an old concept and reminds us our life is our responsibility. I thought it would be good for this month since we've just moved into spring, the days are getting longer, and soon spring romance and mating will be in the air.

The article's title asks, "Are you Living the Love Lifestyle?" The authors then go on to define "Love Lifestyle" and give four pointers for achieving it. I'll tell you what they say about both of these this month and will add my two cents next month.

As always, I encourage you to use any information here that fits for you and pass on to others anything you think they can use. Make comments and ask questions by email or by visiting  CenterForClarity.org. Any identifying information will be removed for publication.

Warmly,

Jenny Friend, MFT

Our article for discussion this month is: "Are You Living the Love Lifestyle?" It was written by experts Dr. Lana and Johnny Fernandez and posted on YourTango.com on March 30, 2012.

They define the Love Lifestyle as "living life at 100% now, knowing that life is a precious gift and can be taken away at any moment", regularly connecting with yourself and disconnecting from social pressures to live a "normal" life.

They say you should live your own life and that your soul mate will show up. They also remind us that a soul mate should be a bonus not a goal. Their recommendations for living your own life are:

  1. Go to personal growth and development seminars to get you out of your comfort zone and meet like-minded people.
  2. Go on a media fast for a month to gain a new perspective.
  3. Connect with high vibration friends and family, only.
  4. Stop whining and complaining about anything.

Next month I'll add my comments. Feel free to send me yours.

Hot Tip!

Happiness and a positive attitude are gifts you can always pass along: no holiday season required.

Readers' Questions and Comments

Dear Jenny,

I want to handcuff my husband in bed, but I feel weird initiating it. What's the best way?

Pamela

 Hi Pamela,

There is really not a "best way" to introduce anything. A lot depends on your personality. I think the easiest way is to introduce it as something you'd read a story about ... or saw an article in Cosmo ... some of your friends were talking about ... you heard it on the radio ... Any of those openers work.

After explaining what you read, heard or saw make a comment that "it sounds kind of exciting ..." "looks like it could be fun ..." "seems kind of interesting ..." "you wonder what it would be like ..." And don't forget there are all kinds of cuffs, from very play to almost real. When you get to the point of telling him what you want, offer to let him pick them out.

 All the best, Jenny
